Avensis T27 1.8 Petrol - problem with electronic systems

Hello guys, 

My car started to report some problems with Electric Parking Brake System (EPBS) and Electric Power steering system (EMPS). I have read some of the old topics here, but they do not exactly match to my problem and this is the reason for creating a new topic. When I switch the key to "Ignition On" messages "Check Parking Brake System" and Check Power steering system" started to appear and beep sound occurs. When this happen the following indicators on the dashboard lights up and do not went off when the engine starts:

-/ the warning lights for traction control (slippery road) lights,

- / ABS lights,

-/ Engine indicator lights

-/ warning indicator with brakes lights.

First of all I need to say, that the problem occurs from time to time - not always exists and probably this is the worst part as it is very hard to understand what causes the problem.

I checked the car with Techstream diagnostics and it showed the following problems DTC:

P1750 - Brake ECU Malfuction

P1585 - Acceleration Sensor Circuit

U0129 - Lost communication with Brake System Control Module

C1201 - Engine contrl system malfunction

I checked CAN bus and it showed:

U0129 - Lost communication with Brake System Control Module

U0073 - Control Module Communication Bus Off

U0123 - Lost communication with Yaw rate sensor Module

U0124 - Lost communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module

 

The brakes of the car works without problems. The parking brake works without problem, too. No difference in driving, fuel consumption, acceleration are observed. The only problems is with the warning lights and messages on the dashboard. With so many errors and considering that the problem occur from time to time I really need a guess from where to start with finding the cause for the problem. I will appreciate any help.

Hi, 

all these errors may occur when you have significant drop in your 12v Battery  or lose connection, terminals, ground for example. You can start from there.
