What is the selector mod?

Have a Yaris 1.33 vvti 2009, 6 speed manual.

Think you all know about the rubbish first or second shift and I saw in another thread there is selector mod to help with this, what is that please?

Selector mod ?? There is a repair kit

more than likely worn shifter cables or poor adjustment

I think they mean TSB#  CP-0008T-0311 - Mk2 Yaris 6-speed gearbox, difficult to shift, especially 1st and 2nd.

I never did get my hands on it, but from what I understand it's essentially a guide to correctly recalibrate the gear shift cables as TMMF botched it in the initial introduction of the 6-speed and 1NR-FE and they somehow go out of alignment..
