I have been searching for a Set. Front seats are easy to find as almost any covers will fit as a general rule. But finding a full set designed specifically for the Mark 4 Yaris Hybrid is difficult if not impossible. If you do find a set specifically for the Mark 4 Yaris Hybrid please let us know.

What is the effect on the airbags?

These are not specifically Yaris covers, but do allege to be compatible with side airbags. I am not convinced enough to use similar myself though. No doubt there is a "weak" section for that? After all there are airbags behind the A pillars and their activation has enough force to blow the plastic trim off with a clip to prevent the plastic acting as a projectile and hitting an occupant!

I use a one piece leather cover for seat and back which doesn't obstruct the sides of the seat. Similar to this.

Well for less than a tenner you can afford to bin them if they turn out tat but the Cross has side airbags that in both sides of each seat that even in the very unlikely event of them deploying, I wouldn’t want to interfere with.  The shape of a Cross seat is nothing like the picture and my feeling is that they will fit like a glove on a duck’s foot.  Keep in mind a car seat is very expensive and fitted with extremely durable material to cover them that can be literally scrubbed time and time again so I think it’s a shame to cover them.

I only offered that link as an example in response to,

not a recommendation, including "alleged" and that I wouldn't use them. Yes, they will be "tat". There are also many, more expensive covers, with alleged side airbag function. Probably tat too.

Hence I only use similar protectors to the second link.

Hi. Having just purchased a Yaris I asked about seat covers and was told by Toyota not to use covers on back seat because of the Battery. The Battery is underneath the backseat and the vent for it must not be covered as it may well cause problems with the Battery overheating.

Apparently that is why Toyota fo not sell covers for the hybrid cars.

True.
Ypu can use a seat covers on the rear seats but make sure you don’t cover this vent. Also for front seats there are air bags fitted in both sides bolsters so best practice is to avoid us any car seat covers, even those who are specifically made for your car.
These acceleration like seat covers, steering wheel covers, pedal covers, handles covers, seat belts pads etc are to be left in history along with the models they were popular like Ford escort mk3 . 👌
