Burning smell

My new Aygo X, manual is less than 2 months old. Produces a burning smell under certain conditions, not always when braking.

Anyone else had a similar problem.?

This can happen with new cars. And the Aygo has a small engine which can produce high revs quite easily, especially when reversing uphill.

Maybe check the oil level just to be sure?

And mention it to the dealer... just in case?

Under which certain conditions is it producing a smell ?

Is it just clutch burn? I managed to get that 5-6 times in the initial months (freshly qualified driver, first car, the usual inexperience).
