Okay, question about skylines... the R34 specifically...

The GTT?? its a cheaper version than the GTR (infact 1/2 the price)

BUT, i know it has only a 2.5 RB26, with a single turbo....

BUT, does it still have 4WD?

What other differences are there?

its actually an RB25 in the GTT/GTS and no its RWD

even though its down on 100cc and two less wheels drive (even though the GTR is part time 4wd and rear wheels do most of the work)

they are about haf the price of GTRs and still pan most other cars on the road!

:yes::yes:

youll find aswell that most big bhp skylines are like supras when they have just a single turbo fitted aside to the twin turbos!!

so your alrrady half way there

they are also lighter due to the decreased weight of not having the front end running gear and slightly less transmition loss, also due to the latter fact

very very very underated! highly shadowed by its big bro GTR

 lmfao

Sorry dude but no way

Those 1000bhp Supra's are all 2jz based.

The supras that have had the 3sgte transplant manage about 700-750 tops. The 2ltr lump just destroys itself if you try to go higher than that.

There is no replacement for displacement

I must admit I'm not a skyline fan, I think they are bland looking cars, the interiors are also awfull (although the R34 interior is loads better then the previous cars) I'm also really not a fan of all the fancy driver aids, active 4wd, active yaw, etc etc, to me that kills driving.

One thing you can;t deny i that they are fast, and very tunable.

an R33 is about the size of a supra

Too add to that, as said GT-d and GT-T are the rwd ones, GT-R is the monster one, there are also many other versions in japan as its a regular family car out there, including 4 door saloon versions, its like a mondeo over there :!Removed!:

My car is in getting a service at my mates and he has an r33 gtst thats running about 700bhp at the moment. it ran at totb this year but the clutch went on the first run. There is a big difference in performance between the gtt and the gtr. I'd personally only get the gtt if you just want the looks or are only interested in posing although if you want to spend money on the gtt then you can make them very fast
