The GT-T is slow though (by GTR standards), despite the single turbo. From what I gather it's a detuned version of the RB26... Which is pointless because you'd have to invest a fair bit of money getting it up to GTR levels of performance before then exceeding GTR levels.

The way I see it, the only Skyline worth having is a GTR. The GT-T might be lighter owing to it being RWD only, which potentially means you could see faster acceleration and higher top speed from it, but the only real advantage the Skyline has ever had lies in it's electronic 4WD system.

Otherwise you might as well just own a 5 Series. Don't buy it just because it's a Skyline.

Ian, I take it you have posted your queries on GTROC and Skyline Owners?

I have never heard of a GT-D AFAIK there are GTS GTS-T, GTT and GTR

Personally, I would go for the R34 GTR. You should be able to find fairly decent ones for less than £29k :)

Do us one favour though, stay away from that thing (GT350 or whatever)
