Hi

My 2 wing mirror indicators are not working.

Can anyone please advise me what the issue may be?

Many thanks!

First thing to do is check the fuses - get out your owners manual and check which fuse is responsible for this.

Secondly, check the bulbs themselves. Pry off the indicator lenses gently and inspect the bulb. Maybe even replace them they'll be cheap enough.

After that, check, is everything else in your door working normally? (electric windows, door locks, Speakers, auto fold button for mirrors if fitted)

Are there any cracks in the indicator lenses? Have the mirrors had any hard smacks that could have damaged something physically inside them?

It will be a mot failure. I had one fail. If you open it up you will find you cannot replace the led lights it is all one unit and very expensive from the dealer. I reckon it was a cheap valet place £3 where they use a high pressure water spray, some  water must have got around the mirror and into the circuit. Though I just bought a 2nd hand one £30 from eBay

2 breaking at the same time does hint at a bad fuse. The cover for the wing mirrors should come of easily and you can use multimeter to test if there is a 5V maybe or less voltage.

If you have a pen that can detect voltage that may work and you just hold it right next to the led light. But these are usually made to detect high voltage but you never know.
