Got A Brand New Motor

Right friday night i went to look at a 53reg toyota hilux crewy. whole deal was a bit dodgy as a will explain

1. i rang the guy up to find out where he was ( rugby) but he wouldnt give me his address. he said ring him before i set off and i'll give it you, yep fair enough ( i thourght)

2. i ring him before setting off and he still wont give me his address, instead he tells me where this pub is, and says ring me when you get there and i'll bring it to show you. + if you want it it will have to be a £500 deposit..........hmmmm wierd? but fair enough. im a big lad, i can look after my self (6'4" and 268lbs).

3. get to pub... ring him... i'll be 10 mins he says. after about 5 mins an escort pulls in and blocks the entrance to the car park......... "hang on i dont like the look of this" chris tells him self :) (after all the know you proberly have a minimum of £500 on you).

4. min later. escort comes speeding towards us, pulls down the side and reverses round infront blocking me in........... (ah *****) (two guys in hoodys + caps start to get out).

5. quick bit of reversing (resulting in small scratches to the rear of the TT and soil up both exhaust pipes) and just managing to get around the escort, before flying accross the car park and down the road.

not a nice experence. plan is for me and my mates to organise the same again but wear our so19 uniforms, & screw em up.

6. go to barnsly, to view and purchase one very leagal mitzi L200 warrior crewcab, with 10 disk changer, alloy load liner, leather seats, climate control and all the bling chrome bits. 53 reg only done 4k £14500. very good price, very nice motor. picking it up tonight from the guys house, no dodgeyness involved. :)

but TBH you should have seen the warnin signs a mile off mate! never meet a bloke down the pub to buy a car!!

always insist to meet at their house and ask to use the bog when your there to justify its their house!

i know it was a bit dodgy. but it was such a good deal, + i can look after my self. (no way was the escort as quick as the TT) trust me i'd be gone :)
