Is it the hazards or the indicators that don't work ?

The relay is on the driver's side up high

Hi, everything works ok. I intend to fit a buzzer to signal when indicators are on. On the Avensis2010 the indicator click cannot be heard if the radio is on, even low volume.  Somebody suggested best place to connect the buzzer to would be the indicator relay ☹️  Any ideas anybody?

thank you.

You could take it from the stalk wiring, a 12v buzzer and 2 diodes is all you need, but you need to know the current draw of the sounder - the stalk is also a ground side switch

Hi there, All I can remember, I’ve had it a while, is that it is the type they use on motor cycles. I have attached the instructions for the kit, no mention of diodes just says connect a red wire to each live indicator wire and black to a solid earth.

thanks.

It will have diodes soldered into the wires then, you will have to wire it differently on a modern car, do you have a pic of it

Hi, here it is…the sleeving is heat shrunk so I cannot tell if diodes are present or not.  👍

You will need to rewire/mod it, if wiring it to the stalk
