RAV4.5 Sunroof fault

Today the roof will only open a few mm and in the wrong sequence. It is lifting at the front instead of at the rear. Hopefully covered by warranty but just not what I need 2 days after my employer went bust!

It’s well within the standard 3 years warranty period so no issue I can see with that but it depends on the supply chain for the parts, to how long it will take to get it repaired. Hopefully it’s a simple fix.

Probably 5 years warranty Adrian.

It changed from 5 years to 3 years around May 2021

At 16 months old I would be livid if there was any prospect of the warranty not covering the failure and that isn’t really my point. I am more interested in if this is a ‘known’ of fault and what the fix entailed. I tried a search yesterday but most Google references relate to the exploding glass on North American built cars.
