Can anyone help, my airbag light is on my dash been in toyota garage 2 impact sensors on front activated but they haven't. Toyota can't get the sensors as on a critical back order. My question is can we use other sensors or a ides how to solve issue. 2012 toyota avensis 2.0 t4d.

Its a gamble fitting 3 party sensors but it depends on cost against waiting time for originals against time vehicle is off road.

Have two sensors failed after a colision if not then try a auto electrican for a second opinion.

Not been in an accident. Came on for no reason. Very strange.
