Rav 4 Mk1 1999 alarm

Anyone help please?  Alarm is not sounding on Rav4  will arm and disarm, will flash lights when goes  off and immobilise, but the alarm noise is so faint,  sounds 3 streets away. anyone know how to get the sound back please?

Jo, all i can think is that the alarm itself has developed a fault and probably needs replaced,maybe water ingress has ocurred or probably just old age, the alarm itself is over 20 years old i guess nothing lasts forever, an autospark is going to have to have a look at it, i don't believe for a second it will be a nice handy fix for you to do. but it's not the end of the world if it's not loud is it ? u could live with it possibly, tho i imagine you are worrying about car theft, but a spark would need to sort it, its had it's day i think.
