It's in the glass, dab is just one line usually, something I will have to look it up,

It looks to be stuck onto the glass to me. And looks somewhat aerial-ish - it could be more than just DAB but I'm only guessing in any case ... 😉

It seems early for the car to have the DCM (SOS system) but then again it's not a UK car

DAB, GSM and secondary GSM maybe FM if it doesn't have the sharks fin

Hi Everyone,

Just to clarify some of the uncertainties.

The clear plastic is on the glass and could be peeled up quite easily. There are actually 4 of these and I've attached the opposite side below. Thinner clear plastic is towards the edge and the larger clear plastic is towards the center. Pattern is thin, large, large then thin again across the windshield.

Can you give pictures from further away/at a wider angle and also from the outside? Is this a new windscreen?

No, it is the factory windscreen.

 

If the outside pic is further away, you will not be able to see it.

The car came with them did it? They look a bit like fractal antennas for picking up TV broadcasts - I don't suppose the car has some sort of aftermarket headrest TVs for the rear passengers or something??

What are those 2 x 2 blocks above them? Are they attached?

Definitely some kind of antenna tho' - Possibly TV, maybe DAB, possibly some sort of aftermarket alarm or remote...?

Yes it did and no there aren't any additional TVs anywhere. The blocks are attached and I have no idea what they do either but the key fob is the standard two button kind.

That's a good shout actually. All I've been able to find is it seems like they are antennas for things like aftermarket alarms, immobilizers etc.

ETC is in the dash on LH side, as is the GPS

if it's a USA car, it may have Sirius XM, JDM, It's for TV
