Anyone fitted sound deadening to their Yaris Cross? Company called NK acoustics supply kits or materials for most vehicles. They haven't got a pre cut kit for the Yaris Cross at the moment, but they have offered a custom fit at their factory for £375. After that they will have templates for that model and will offer pre cut diy kits. I will report back if I get this done.

Also for any members who have experienced of this which brand to recommend. Probably looking to do this when my MK4 arrives.

You are paying a lot for pre-cut sheets, 2mm silentcoat bulk pack, and a roll of foil duct tape, you have to conform it to the car anyway trimming and cutting it's easy with a sharp blade and a straight edge

https://www.silentcoat.co.uk/products/silent-coat-2mm-deadening-mat

A bulk pack is £70-80 and is ample for most cars

eg.

By the way, by using the accessory boot insert, it virtually seals that bare spot under the deck board…..

@cruiserOAP did you pursue the sound deadening kit any further? I have a 2022 Yaris Cross and one thing I really dont like about it is the road noise which is coming from the hatch area. Best wishes Chas

see my post above its really easy to fit, offer up the sheet to the area dry cut to size (or use paper or card to make a template), and peel the backing off stick it down and roller it into place a small section at a time

For me the worst issue with my Cross is the road noise from those chunky tyres so would be very interested to know how effective the fit is on your car.
