My 2.2 dcat engine has blew up. Will a d4d engine fit ok. Apparently they have the same engine code2ad fhv. The d4d engine is more available than the d cat

No it will not drop straight in your car is a D-CAT 2AD-FHV a D4d Will be a 2AD-FTV The cylinder heads are different along with plumbing, electrics, control units and fuel injectors all of which differ
