2003 Yaris gearbox

Hi, 

Tried breakers but not much going, thought might have more luck on a dedicated forum. Looking for a Yaris 2003, 1ltr 5 speed manual gearbox.  Model SCP10r.

Yeah shipping is the issue!

The likes of bparts have a few but french models too, just wary.

Local is nonexistent, sharpewood closed down. Overton nothing, trent nothing, 1st choice a couple but expensive.

do you have a Japanese built car, as that is unusual on a 2003 unless it's a JDM import (vitz)

This is the same box as used in the 1KR-FE Aygo - No?

In which case, there should be an abundant supply.

Depending on what's wrong with the box - if all else fails - it could be rebuilt. Not the most economical option though.

up to 2005 they still used the iron 4 cylinder, 1SZFE

op is in Moray, NE Scotland (nr aberdeen) 90% will not ship there if they do there is a major surcharge

My Yaris is a Japanese model SCP10, reverse is to driver and back. 

Issue started with car not driving you could select gears but wouldn't drive, it would stall when clutch lifted. It free wheeled out of gear.  I gave it a bit more revs, but then small clunk noise, hole in casing. So original issue not really found, drive shafts are ok.

Plan is to change clutch and replace gearbox.

Might of found one in Preston, fingers crossed.
