Bluetooth transmitter static noise..

Does anyone have any issues with static noise from their bluetooth transmitter? When I turn the volume up (not even loud) it gets all staticy. I’ve never had any issues before on other cars, faulty transmitter maybe? Or is it the car?

I use one, and it's totally silent. Try it in another car.

Try tuning up or down a notch on your radio. My transmitter is easy to mis-tune with an accidental button press. Also, I can get a bit of interference in some areas from a nearby (frequency) radio station which doesn't affect me near home or another BT transmitter as someone drives by, so maybe a retune to another empty area of the FM radio band can help you. Another source of static has been the rear screen heater, that was on a car using the heater element as the radio aeriel. That may have been my Avensis.
