Suspension creaking is a typical Toyota thing and nothing to worry about it. A few shots wd-40 silicone spray on rear bush of the front suspension arms will sort it and you don’t need to change any parts. Also even brand new Toyota does that. And yes, it depends on whether, temperature, dry or wet etc. The reason is dirt sticks between the rubber opening of the bush and when suspension is loaded like sharp stop, going over bumps, kerbs or sharp acceleration these bushes flexes as the suspension arm moves up and down and the friction between rubber peace’s creates those creaking noises. All Toyota models, no exception. When happens though, usually after dry and cold, after winter and salty roads, silicone spray or wash them and you are good to go. 👍
Since budget is limited and Yaris are expensive another good alternative are Mitsubishi colt or mirage. Latest colt are actually even better, anything around 2010-2012. , or mirage after that. Avoid automatic from colt , mirage auto are cvt and good one. These cars are very basic, but reliable, very much like Toyota cars.
