In order to log into my service history, I seem to need this code. It says the info is on my V5C, but I cannot find it. It says this is a 6 or 7 digit code.  Can anyone advise?

If I remember correctly, it will be the last 7 digits of your V5c document reference number

On V5 I believe it is called model/variant a:

1.8 Hybrid will start ZYX###

a 2.0 Hybrid will start MAX###

Did you find the code you need to enter? I’ve entered all sorts off the V5C and none work.

I’m sure it’s made up of letters not digits as requested. Thats what threw me. I will give it a go when I’m back in the house. Thanks

just doing mine - It is the version under vehicle details - Version (6th Line down)

it is the model code!

for a c-hr on a 2017 its either a

NGX20R - 1.2 turbo

or

XYZ10R - 1.8 hybrid

 

2019 on

MAXH10R - 2.0 hybrid

Hi There, I've just found the code! after 8 months of ownership lol - doing it through the website instead of app make it easy as it shows you.

Follow below on your V5C:

• Vehicle details (top left first page)
• 6 lines down the first column it says "version code"
• It would be sensible to assume that it wants the full code right? WRONG!
• It only wants the digits before the dash for example AB1-ABC1(1A), the format mine is in, my code would be AB1 along with date of purchase/registered to yourself

That was a big help I've been trying to verify mine all day and just kept coming up with contact your nearest dealer, all sorted now but how do I change the reg number as the previous owner had a private plate on.
