Boxing Threads

There is an increasing trend of boxing threads recently due to carelessness when topics are being created on the public forums and replies to threads.

The moderating team is not here for fun - we all have the serious responsiblities of keeping the forums well run, clean of bad language and such, free of slanderous statements and a good place for every member to visit time and time again.

All I ask is that every single member think hard when they are posting topics and replies.

Be aware of bad language; slander; in-appropriate comments; abuse towards other members............just be careful when posting. Think twice if rising to arguements in threads.

Please help the moderators keep TOC an enjoyable, friendly site to visit

I let 2 topics go last night because of the time and due to the number of members onsite. I did box it tho when I left TOC.

Not really.....Just there seems to be so many more topics being boxed recently.

It's not rocket science for ALL members to use common sense when posting on a forum that children can view.

The majority of our members are fantastic on here but please be vigilant and careful.

Boxing - means removing them from general viewing ..

Us mods also have to edit posts for content and swearing ..

By BOXING we mean a thread is closed and removed from the viewing area of the forum. Only moderators can then view it.

Seeing that a person up to age 16 is classed as a child then yes there is a very good chance that this site is viewed by children.

And most parents would want to know that if their child is on a car site then they are not being corrupted in any way by exotic verbal and verse.

Well I know of several people who frequent the forum who are interested in cars, but are not of legal age to drive ..

and it was decided form the beginning that this would be a family forum due to the obvious link to Toyota .. I can't see any company wanting accociation with a site full of swearing, insults and immature people..

Them's the rules, don't like them - create your own forum, pay you own server bills and let rip ..

regardless, this forum is based as a 'family orientated' area

therefore people of all ages can pass through here at will

hence the gold forums where you can just act like a looney behind password protected and closed doors

Im sure 99% of people on this forum dont want to read non-sensical rubbish (we have all done it so none of us are exempt!)

Its probably why Golds been soooo busy as we dont want to clutter up the public forum
