2011 3rd Gen Yaris - Rear screenwash not working

Hi everyone!

My 2011 3rd Gen Yaris is my first car (new driver) and I got it a couple of weeks ago. I wanted it to have a full service at the local garage our family have always used to make sure everything was all in good shape.

I paid £230 for a full service (couple of minor fixes) and air con re-gassing on Tuesday. The work they've done is great and the car feels like night and day compared to what it was before.

However, I got it back home and the rear screenwash fluid is no longer coming out when turned on (rear wiper moves, but no screenwash.)

I rang the garage and they've said nothing they did would have affected that. But, it was definitely working before going in as I've used it a few times since having the car.

I'm in a stalemate with them as there's no proof something they did while servicing the car has broken it, and I have no proof that it was working before. So, I'll eat the cost to get it fixed if necessary, but want to make sure it's not something easy I can do myself first.

For more details, the front screenwash and wiper are working fine and you can hear the pump when that's on. When you do the rear wash, the wiper moves but no screenwash and you can't hear the pump. I've checked the manual and I think the car only has the one screenwash pump (but could be wrong) and I've topped up the screenwash as well and still nothing.

Any advice for a first time owner on anything else I could check before I admit defeat and it goes back to a garage?

Be aware the washers only come on it 2 ways, test by turning the end of the stalk, the rear wash/wipe works by turning the stalk and holding (this is sprung loaded)

Open the boot, in the middle pull the pipe out, place a rag over the hole and try the washers
