Induction Kits

What exactly do induction kits do, and how? Something to do with fuel?

Forgive me, everyone must learn somewhere.

It's just another type of air filter. The difference is, it's a lot more free flowing, so more air can enter the inlet side of the engine, and it's because the filter part of the system is designed to be fed with cold air, it's denser. The denser the air, the more that can be fitted into the combustion chamber. The more air and fuel you can cram into the combustion chamber, the more power the engine will produce.

japfest.

blitz make a cover for the standard airbox that uses the lm pannel filter

my blitz makes a nice whine/ hissing sound when you floor it and a fluttering sound on lift off if the turbo hasnt fully spooled up..... very nice :D

Remember if you fit an induction kit in such a way that it sucks in warm air, you will lose performance!

I did on my supra after fitting an HKS super mega flow filter
