Having purchased Garmin then TomTom to update routes as i was not certain of the 2017 sat nav disc in my car. I got rid of both. Pure JUNK.

Purchased a new sat nav disc from Sat Nav and said a few prayers. Luton to Italy through the Alps. Oh my gosh. Between the Toyota system and the disc the journey was bliss. Detours, road works, speed camera's, you name it. It got me there without any mistakes. Mistakes are what Garmin and TomTom are famous for. Wrong routes, miscount of round a bout exists, errors in distances and the normal turn left that should be right, turn right that should be left. 

The new Toyota disc gave me faith, the madness is not in Toyota but in Garmin and TomTom. Oh, by the way. Was even accurate with arrival times and distance still to cover
