Android auto

[Max_Headroom]

I have a 2019 MK3 my unit has satnav but i cannot get the live traffic info to work (using my mobile phone) i have tried several times using many guides but cannot get it to play ball so have given up, my question is can i get a later version with Android Auto and is it easy to replace the existing unit (is the wiring the same etc)

You get 3 Years free connectivity after this you have to subscribe ( at a cost ) this is done via ither dealer or yourself via "estore" on MyT Portal, you may also need to try the free TLS 1.2 update, This TLS 1.0/1.1 known security and privacy vulnerabilities were fixed with the update version 1.2. TLS1.2 Software update will be free of charge. Service communication via TLS1.0 and TLS1.2 will remain available until April 3rd, 2023. As from that date, all 13/16MM customers which have not applied the specific software update/patch will not be able to use online services (e.g. Weather, Parking, Traffic, Coyote, AHA-Radio, E-Store).

Sorry but I haven't a clue what that means. 

Can I change the head unit fot a later one with android auto?
