Who needs a van when you have a mighty PH1 1.0 with blacked out windows!

My £300 “drive it until it breaks” theory is working out well, we are on the 3rd year now and it still passes it’s MOT with flying colours with very little maintenance.

Cool. Nice to use an older car.

I use my 1996 940 petrol auto estate for my work. Now with working AC. Paid £250 for it 6 years ago. Just run in at 208,000 miles.

Can any of you remember a car magazine from the 80s 90s called "Buying Cars" ?

IIRC it focused on older and cheaper motors mainly, and running them at minimal cost.

One of writers was Quentin Wilson I think.

Even though I had bought my first and only new car back then, I still found it very interesting reading.

Was that car only for Europe, I believe I seen one of these in Bulgaria last year. it was a local beer brand rep car and it was manual., or could just had been the most basic Yaris with a net behind the rear seats .

The old Yaris and Aygo still very popular with food delivery here in my town. Even we have a celica and old Corolla from 1994 and few yarises gen1. Domino deliveries  are Aygo X though.

Yes .... and van versions of the first generation Aygo, third generation Yaris, first generation Auris 3 door, and second generation Auris Touring Sport.

The UK currently has van versions of the Corolla Touring Sport and Land Cruiser.
