Hi, this is my first post on the forum, i'm hoping for some advice on my Corolla Verso. Although its on a 59 plate it is one of the last of the 2nd generation cars which I think is coded as ZNR10 with the 1.6 litre petrol engine. I've had the car for 3 years and love it's practicality and comfort on long journeys.

The car has only had 1 x previous owner, unfortunately spending a fair amount of time I think near the coast near or in Edinburgh. Just recently the power steering reservoir has needed regular topping up about every 100 miles. My local garage have taken a look and believe the power steering pipes are corroded, i'm assuming due to it's previous life near the coast. The garage tried to source new Toyota parts and including fitting this would be £400. They suggested trying to get secondhand but i've struggled to identify what is required and even if these pipes are available easily secondhand. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome this problem?

Many thanks for reading the post

Hi,

If you enter your car details to a site like this you will be able to find the correct Toyota part number/s so you can then search for anyone other than Toyota stocking them, though you might struggle for new parts.

Thanks flash22, for the extra info, I don’t feel confident doing the job myself but I may be able to source the necessary part thanks to you and oldcodgers info.
