2005 E12 1.4 VVTi - low beam headlights not working

Hi everyone, looking for some ideas here. Low beam headlights don't work, high beam doesn't work when the stalk is pushed forward but work when pulled back for flashing.

I don't drive the car usually and the other half drives it daytime only. I assumed the bulbs had gone one after the other at some stage and replaced them but no luck.

Checked the fuses and both are fine, checked with voltmeter and getting 12v at the fuse. Any ideas? Stalk maybe?

For anyone interested. Picked up a stalk switch from a scrappy today, all working again. I think the original one will work again after a cleanup, it's a bit greasy.
