Washer Jets

The washer jets squirt 4 jets of water on the windscreen, right.

But are they all supposed to squirt up to the same height?

On mine, the far right jet (drivers side(where you need it most)) squirts lower than the others. <_<

Is this supposed to happen?

Hi,

stick the tip of a needle or something in the jet and turn it in the direction you want the spray to go. the longer the needle the better you can aim it.

Cheers, Yves.

Get a needle and poke it inside 'em and adjust with the needle and then test 'em as u can change the direction of them!

Cheers

My mate always had one of his washers aimed towards the pavement for drive-by squirtings.

Quite why you'd want to draw attention to yourself in a 900cc Y reg (the OLD Y reg!) rusty fiesta, I don't know!

if its blocked you can clear them by blasting air through them with a compressor.

A nice little trick..and it looks cool to, is to have the middle set of jets crossing each other so that they target the other side of the screen.

This also stops the water just hitting the wiper, and you get better water coverage over a larger area.

LOL wish I kept my mouth shut!!

Before everyone gets there hopes up......although it does work on the Yarii....it's not as good as I've had on other motors....Volvo are great for the diagonal jets....can set both jets diagonal easily....sadly, the Yarii's jet's don't move over as far as would be desired.

Does look good though. all the same ..and also seems to be more effective.

Enjoy!

Vipes.

Yup.

and hand on heart it gives better results...rather than just squirting to a direct spot, you are squirting across the glass.

Give it ago!
