LED Daytime running light not working

2015 Toyota Avensis T27 2.0 Diesel

The LED strip started to fade away, eventually it stopped working.

You can see on the working one (left side) how it should look, but on the other one (right side), you can see that the top is not nearly as bright as the others.

Everything works fine, only that part of the LED is not working.

Is there a way to repair this or buying a new headlight would be a better idea?

To me its a sign the led is failing not necassery the driver but you may not be able to purchase them separately.

Unfortunately I’ve experienced the same on my 2016 model with same headlight, they are not repairable. I had two changed by Toyota under warranty and then had to change one of those after about two years at a cost of £530 supply only and fitted it myself, after this I pulled the DRL fuse so that they are not on constantly and only come on when side lights are turned on.
