Hi everyone

I'm hoping some of you members have done the same as I'm trying to do . So you can help .

Im fitting  front and back parking sensors to my 2012 aygo .

Now on the very small instruction half size postnote

It says

On the small plug in part to the box/control thing

1. red wire ACC

2. yellow wire reverse light

3. Blue wire bake light

4. Black ground .

Now on the aygo

The red wire is ACC and reverse light

The blue wire is brake light

Black wire is ground.

So do I wire the red an yellow to the aygos red wire

The blue light to blue wire

An Black to ground

OR do I just wire the red wire to the aygos red wire

Again blue to blue

An black to ground

If you can help it will b fantastic

It's due to I'm teaching my kids how to drive and want all the help them I can . .

Thanks

ACC = Accessory.  You need a supply which goes to +12V when the ignition key is in the Accessory position. It should go to 0V when the ignition is fully turned off.  Maybe take a fused spur off the radio or rear wiper fuse in the fuse box.

Hi thanks for replying . I was hoping I just wire up the red wires  and then the blue to the brakes and then black to ground  and leave the yellow wire capped off .

As one guy has replied by saying the red wire in the car will work the reverse light as you put it in reverse  so as the back sensors are wired to the cars red wire they will work and the front sensors will come on when you press the brake .he said the yellow is spare incase your car has a separate ACC and feed when the ignition is on but engine not running . So I think I'll tray that   unless anyone know diffrent   thank you
