Toyota Verso 1.8, 108 kw - Lifespan

Hello,

as the owner of said model (Toyota Verso 1.8 - 108kW) I would like to know what is the lifespan of the engine. The car was manufactured in 2009. 

My mileage in kilometres is currently at 240.000 kilometres (149.129 miles) and no problems currently with engine or other parts. As for service I only had to replace water pump for some 600 eur since it was leaking. 

Can this engine do 300.000 kilometres (186.000 miles) with no problems? I have seen some Toyota Verso diesels with a high mileage but not petrol engines. 

What is your experience? Should I sell the car since it has a decent mileage or keep it since it is low maintenance and generally a good and reliable car? Are there any other problematic parts that I should be aware of?

I came across this and thought you may like what they said and of course with regular maintenance. And of course it is a Toyota.

So, how long do Toyota vehicles typically last?

The answer to that question depends on many factors, such as how often you drive, how you drive, where you drive, and maybe a bit of luck. But a Carfax analysis shows a typical Toyota lasts around 210,705 miles before it’s considered “worthless” — not worth repairing once it eventually breaks down, Forbes reported.👍

I usually drive in the city (small routes - 5 to 10 km) and sometimes on the highways (80-160km). I try to drive with low fuel consumption and also keep up with the oil change dates.
