Hi

Anyone with a suggestion for an iPhone holder which fits/suits the Yaris mk3?

 Thanks!

Brodit do a two part system. Bespoke bracket to fit the car (2 options) plus a specific phone holder that fits to the bracket.

I've actually just ordered a pillar mount and holder for my Android phone. Their other mk3 option fits above the centre display unit.

I have tried a few different phone holders and either they would not stick properly to the dash or the ones that clip to the air vents eventually broke. So I purchased the one in the link and have had no problems . It locks on the dash and you can twist it to the angle you want.

It fits many phones including the iPhone . It also fits to the windscreen. Not sure what your yaris mk 3 set up is but it may be an option.👍

+1 for Brodit. Not cheap but I've tried a lot and their's are the best.

The mount I have clips into the centre console and the holder screws into that.

(Mk4)

Do you need charging? Does your iPhone have magsafe? I use this on my iPhone 12 and 13 both work great. I run the usb cable behind the dashboard cover. You may need a magsafe supported iPhone case.

I just saw a buyer comment the photo seems it is mounted in a mk3 😂

The Brodit looks interesting.

Think I will get one.

I was concerned the one I got would obscure the radio or touchscreen (MK IV), as you can see it doesn't.

Also plenty of space for the MagSafe wallet to stay attached.

No movement when driving, phone just slides in from the top.

Yes, I know, the screen needs a clean 🙂

Fitted my pillar mount Brodit now. It's secure but the way it pans out the phone does increase the A pillar blind spot a bit. It could be mounted lower but then there wouldn't be clearance to the dash for the power lead.

OTOH it's much closer to my eyeline than a centre mounted one would be, so easier to keep an eye on the road while using/looking at the phone.

I'll try and get some pics up sometime.

Finally took a couple of pics today. I was going to take some with the phone in position, but having got it set up with the maps displaying realised I needed the phone to take the pictures 😚 . So just the bare bones I'm afraid.

I bought a 2m USB cable which is plugged into the centre console and run through a hole cut in the plastic trim just above the sockets and then behind the instrument cluster, etc, to come out at the A-pillar.

You won't regret it. It's the best there is IMO. (for both the mk3 & 4)
