Quite possibly. There are things that operate according to the logic I think you want (such as the electric brake booster) but these days that is all done within the relevant control processors or shared via canbus and thus can't be tapped into easily, if at all.

no problems, the dream was the connection from the start/stop button with all my desire, but it's ok...usb connection and strips always on, no problems 🙂

a little PS: when I have connected the +/- to the +/- from the button, only ONE led was flickering (the one on the front panel), not the other 2 (the 2 on the doors panel)

boooob don't leave me alone lol 🤣 @flash22

Well, I'm not going to buy a kit and reverse engineer it

the car led's flicker, or the kit led's flicker ?

the kit flicker if connected to +/- of the start button, but only one led of three

no flickers if the kit is connected with USB or 12v cig

Swap the LEDs around at the connectors or disconnect 1 and see if it evens out

It was much more easier...from the app, I have to switch off the dimmer option and set the full brightness

now works! Unlock the car, open any door, with lights on

That will do it, the flicker is caused by the PWM (Square wave) signal change

shuts when I'm driving with lights off after 7.5sec from closing car

ah its on that circuit, yes that is a pwm circuit so no good for your needs as its controlled by the B-ecu aka BCM

so, today I have removed the ambient lights entirely and now the start/stop button remains illuminated in every situation: car locked, car unlocked, lights off, lights on, car on ready, car in ACC...always on even after 2h! why? now I have disconnected the 12v Battery

Maybe adding the extra load to the button illumination circuit previously has damaged the pwm driver so it's gone short circuit or low resistance. Semiconductors can be like that. It wasn't built to handle more than that button LED.

What can I do?

Car locked for 2h

+12.4v with the red wire and +11.9v with the purple wire

@flash22 🙏🏼 nothing has changed after 1h with 12v fully disconnected...is it normal that absorbing power from the button?

Please, help me

I'm thinking of a bad relay or sticking relay

everything worked perfectly until I remove the wires of the ambient light, with the 12v disconnected and black wire before the red one...I reconnected the Battery and PUFF, the PWR button remain illuminated all the time and still feeding 12v costantly (car open, car closed, lights off, lights on, car locked...)

there is no fuse or relay its all Bcm controlled (ground side) so it has a constant 12v, you have a wire shorted to ground

where did you have your light kit tapped into? and check where you had it tapped before

the kit was connected to black wire 6 agnd (-) and red wire 9 swil (+) and everything worked until I removed the kit with 12v disconnected

when I have reconnected the 12v, here it comes the problem...wires insulated previously, obv

so it seems that the agnd tapped somehow to gnd? how can I stop the continuous 12v feeding the power button illumination? I'm afraid of a Battery drain

12v is supposed to be there, the car turns the light on/off with the ground wire

make sure the wires you have connected to in the past are not shorting on anything and check you have not rubbed a wire through on a sharp edge
