Hi, can I disable Yaris back door trunk open warning beeping?

Most safety warnings are difficult to disable, but why would you want to disable a very useful option to have??.

I must admit that would have been really handy when mine got rear-ended... The Mk4 already beeps far too much for my liking, so you can imagine how thrilled I was driving it home with it going BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! the whole way! :wacko:

You wouldn’t disable it just for the possibility of some idiot rear ending your car, or would you??🤔

I think all continuous warnings should have some sort of YES I KNOW! SHUT UP! button, or at least a snooze button like on a clock radio alarm...

Well the switch is in the latch, so trip the latch with a screwdriver, assuming you just need to transport something
