Hit my highest MPG this weekend...

A roads and motorways and some traffic.

Which engine are you?

My 1L manual is an easy 60+ on motorway journeys, and even my 2 mile commute in the summer is currently getting 57mpg.

On a recent staycation around the UK I even had one ~300 mile leg hit 70mpg.

I'm also on a 1L and manual... your 70mpg: brilliant!

Sadly on my recent trip I kept a record of each fill and mileage...

To maximise efficiency, and make the drive more relaxing, the motorway sections from Guildford to Glasgow were done at non busy times and at indicated 60mph.

I used to do this trip in a BMW 760 V12 which used 3x the amount of fuel!

Sounds similar to my previous RX300. Lovely to drive but... drank petrol!
