Is there a way of starting the engine without driving to continously run for maintenance purpose

Corolla 2020

Not sure, but if you put the heater to a high temp the engine should run as it attempts to generate heat.

Hi,

it’s very likely to be the same procedure as with the Prius and the other hybrids.
Double push start button, Press twice fully the accelerator , select N, press twice accelerator, select P, press twice accelerator, maintenance mode on screen shown, press and hold the brake pedal and push the start button. The engine will start and run continuously. You can rev up if necessary with pressing the accelerator. , not recommended to keep at high revs for a long time.
Turn off the car to exit. 👍

I can use Dr. PRIUS app with Veepeak OBD 2.  It works well, just tap "Maintenance Mode" and it will go to maintance mode.  I had tested on my nieghbor Corolla, it works just fine.  There is also some procedure that Tony had explained if you do not have capable OBD2 scanner.
