The bz4x - it turns heads!

This week I have 6 people pass positive comments about my bz4x. On Thursday l was sat in the car in my local supermarket car park in Knutsford waiting for the other half when two separate people asked me about it; had a long chat with one chap as he was thinking of getting one and welcomed the opportunity to talk to someone who has real experience with the car.

Yesterday afternoon l had to take the other half and her friend in to Manchester (they went to see Six at the Opera House). Trains were on strike yesterday so l got volunteered to drive them in. While sat in the gridlocked traffic along Deansgate & Peter Street l had 4 Uber drivers all pass comments 'Great Car', 'Looks Great' and lots of thumbs up. We all know Uber drivers like their white Prius' but it was quite an odd feeling to be the focus of that much attention - it's not as if l have the latest Ferrari or McLaren monster: we get more than our fair share of them along Alderley Edge high street every sunny weekend 😡.

P.S - Avoid Manchester City Center - it's chaos with all the road 'improvement' works and the train strike really didn't help.

I remember when I had a Prius years ago it was the same. At the time we ended up downsizing to a Auris and then CH-R as we didn't need the space. Went back to a Prius because we needed the space and then noticed how in Nottingham nearly every Uber driver also have a silver Prius.

Certainly looking forward to not feeling like I'll be mistaken for an Uber. 🙂 At the moment I can't see many Uber drivers being in a rush to switch to EV or a BZ4X.
