Hi all,

New here. I have a 1994 Estima Lucida and there is a coolant leak under the drivers side footwell. It stops leaking when the header tank is empty. I am assuming that the hose has burst. Trouble I am having it trying to access these hoses to see what's happening. Does anyone have any tips on how to get to this pipes/hoses? Can I access them through the wheel arch?

Any advice appreciated.

A little history.

The bus overheated about 2 weeks ago for no apparent reason. Haven't driven it since.

As luck would have it, I had noticed the level dropping in the header tank and I was in the process of preparing to replace coolant. I purchased the coolant and was waiting on the thermostat to arrive when it overheated. Probably saved me some moolah but now I have a bigger problem.

Thanks for reading 👍

You have to decide if its the matrex that failed or another attachment like a coupling or just a split in the tubing.

Thanks Derek. That would be easy if I could see exactly where the coolant is coming from. There's so much in the way it seems impossible to get to it.
