Time to say goodbye!!

I'm sad to say that the time has come for the Yaris to find a new home with my new car arriving a bit sooner than I thought.  PX price is generous, but potentially looking to sell it privately.

I waited almost 11 months to receive it and have enjoyed it now for almost 7 months, with the Yaris exceeding all expectations, it probably is the best small car on the market with loads of tech, great economy and fun to drive, it will be missed.

Why the short ownership if you really liked it?

What car have you got.

The MK4 Yaris is the best small gasoline car on the planet when everything are taken into consideration imo. I have driven Audi A1 TDI and fiestas, while they are also great small cars, the hybrid powertrain and Toyota reliability tops it.

What have you brought to replace the Yaris. 7 months is a really short time so the new car must be special.👍

If there wasn’t the opportunity of owning a GR86 I would be keeping it.

Frosty's the only one who's been paying attention!!

I'd be interested to hear how you find the transition, going from a slow but very responsive and very punchy hybrid to a very agile RWD 2.4L NA; I hear they've fixed the notorious torque dip the GT86 had, so it should really pull! :naughty:

For a hybrid hatch the Yaris is quick, I was quite surprised when I drove one for the first time because I expected to hate, but loved it. As mentioned on this forum the Yaris is an incredible car and certainly surpassed my expectations. The GR86 isn’t quick for a sports car, but is perfect power for road use. Can finally get into to car and drive with enthusiasm without the fear of losing my licence. BTW there is no noticeable dip in torque through the rev band. It’s glorious being NA as not a fan of turbo cars on RWD which unfortunately is the way everything is going.
