Unplugged connector in boot

Hello everyone,

I've discovered a connector that's not plugged into anything. It's near the right taillight. Please see photo attached.

I'd assume this is the connector for the factory rear parking sensors? I've found an installation manual on toyotatech.eu which routes the sensors on that side. Or is it something else? Has anyone got any ideas what it's for?

There's also some non factory electrical tape, so I guess someone's been poking around there. When I took the light off, there was quite few marks someone's definitely been there and wasn't tok gentle on the clips and bodywork...

I took both light clusters on the back of mine, don't remember any extra connector. So could be that someone added it.

Maybe video cables for the back sensors?
