Driving around today, and the infotainment system suddenly stopped displaying album and radio graphics and said update gracenote database. Is this something I can do, an error, or a dealer visit..... It's not had its DCM update as yet ... When I get home I'll take a picture....

Just got home, went back to car and it's all normal again. No idea what's gone on.....

And doing it again. Went out to local shop, was fine until nearly there, then message came back. Got back into car all was fine. I did notice when I had started car, the DCM icon had a line through it, for a minute or so. I wonder if there is some kind of issue with the DCM module??. The radio also of late has started displaying lines where the music info should be when starting journeys, before finally switching to the radio icon. I've got some images.....IMG_20230806_194512499_HDR.thumb.jpg.32f22c4759fb66861324fcd6857c8a71.jpgIMG_20230806_194512499_HDR.thumb.jpg.32f22c4759fb66861324fcd6857c8a71.jpg

Well all gone back to normal. I did book car in for its DCM update, but local dealer cancelled, as their techs were not trained on the update!!!!

I mentioned this in passing to my Brother in law, who is a Ford Tech, and he mentioned that weekend Ford had some issues, as there were issues with Vodaphone and 3s Networks.  I assume the Gracenote etc is acquired as needed via the 4G network, and cars embedded SIM???  If so, then I would think this caused the issues.

Thanks mate. To be honest it's completely behaving itself at the moment.
