Infotainment screen

Hello All

I took delivery of a 23 plate (Gen 5) Corolla Excel HB last week, the dealer where I purchased it from insisted on installing and activating the MyT system. I really don't want this so I did a factory reset of the cars system on the infotainment screen, however,  I can't seem to get it to go past the blue nag screen without accepting the options and I now get this every time I start the car.

A family member has a 72 plate (Gen 4) Corolla TS we only had to go through the screen once and it's never shown since.

Any ideas how to stop the nag screen on the 23 plate without linking the app would be really welcomed.

You need to link a phone or a key to the car so that it registers the user. After that it should stop pestering.

I've spent this morning resetting the car, in fact three times with no luck, I can't seem to get the car to just register the key I have to login on my phone (which I don't want) I can then assign the key.  It seems Toyota are forcing you to use the MyT app and offering no alternative.

If anyone has any other ideas I'd be really grateful.

What happens if you assign the key using the MyT app and once the car recognises the driver profile decline to share data on your MyT account?

Will give it a try tomorrow have been on a 200 mile round trip to the coast today.

Tried again this morning finally after two resets and not putting and ticks in the boxes and just clicking the available option the nag screen vanished.

It might take two or three goes but if you don't want Toyota having any of your info it is worth it.
