Satnav display

I have recently become the owner of my fav Rav-4 but despite loving driving it I have one niggle. When I use the satnav( setting it up as I like) and then leave the car, on my return I find the display has reverted to the default. Is there a way that I can set the satnav so that when I return and start up again, the display is as I left it? Help please! This is the only thing I find detracts from an excellent experience.

I had a mate who had a similar problem so it might be worth a try.

going into the app and car profile, changed the navigation settings and then back up setting. This is dependent on your type of head unit but if you have these settings it worked for him.👍
