2005 Avensis boot badge came off

Hi

The Avensis Badge of my 2005 T3X Avensis has come off cleanly.  Looked at Youtube and it seems a real faff, involving glue removal, putting on special double sided tape and reattachment.  I am suffering from Long Covid so my energy levels are really low, but I love my car and dont like it to look scruffy.

eBay has a new Badge for my model and one for 2008 onwards, to my eye, they look identical.  The newer one is £2 less, does anyone know if its actually different.  The other concern would be... is the sticky tape likely to work ok?  If not, then which double sided tape would you recommend ?  Also what glue remover (I use Sticky Stuff remover in the house for label removal) would you recommend.   The X fell off ages ago, but I could get a new one of them on eBay.
