Reflet Rear Lights

Right peeps,

I know that this subject has come up hundreds of times, and before you say sear the forum, i have.

I am wanting the rear lights that have the two clear strips on the bottom, im 90% sure they are the glanza ones, anyway the last topic was by toby i think and he used the part numbers that geo supplied in march, and he recieved the wrong ones, from what i can make out the part number for the left light cover is

81561-10350

Does anybody know the right light cover part number??

I have those rear lights on my Glanza! They're from a '99 Toyota Reflet F. I don't have the actual part numbers but I have the PNC (Part Number Code), which the Toyota dealer will use to find the part you want. The chassis number is below:

Chassis Code: EP91-0509055

Rear Light Clusters [Rear lamp assembly]:

81550 (R/H)

81560 (L/H)

Rear Light Lens only [Rear combination lens]:

81551 (R/H)

81561 (L/H)

I would advise you to buy the whole cluster/assembly as I only got the lenses, and altough they're the same size, the screw holes and clips didn't match up with my Glanza units, so I had to modify the unit and seal it up. Also the spacings between the indicator, brake and parking lights are different and when the indicators are on, they "bleed" into the reflector above it. I'm not sure though, the ordinary UK Starlet's might match up as a Reflet is basically a facelifted Starlet.

The chassis code for the '98/'99 Glanza rear lights, which has 2 small bubble lights at the bottom of the lens as well (but with one orange and one clear) is below. Note the PNCs are the same. It's just a reference number for various parts on the car, with the part number changing with different chassis numbers.

Chassis Code: EP91-0410838

Right thats it confirmed, toyota dealers dont have a clue!!!! :ffs:

Cant order the lights without a model code, as they aparently need to tie the part code to a model, therfore i am sc :censor: ewd!!!

So does anybody have a model no. for the reflet lights aparently has same prefix as parts but has letters on the end??

Ask andy at toyotasera.co.uk, he is the only one ive found to supply the right part numbers,i have bought carat rear lights, cost over 150, ouch, but might be selling them, there brand new in the boxes toby

Why didnt u fit them on toby? bit of a fuss i guess having to mold the bumper...

not keen on the carat lights prefer the ones on hou's to be honest. ne parts u wanna sell toby.

yeah you have to mod the rear bumper to fit but worth it if you have the right contacts,

have some wind deflectors for the front windows, exact the same as mine for sale,brand new in boxes, tinted as well, £45 if anyone wants? tobs

well ring york, they helped me out loads by logging onto the data base to locate the other light as i only had the number for one side!

no mate but find it on the toyota homepage and then ring say you need some rear lense covers but only have the number for one side but would like both sides and they will sort you out cos toby got one side for sure!

wudn't mind them wind deflectors. bring em to uni with u. u'll see my car parked outside me house on cromwell street. prob c u wen every1 gets back to uni.
