Anybody know the cheapest place for aftermarket Corolla T Sport rear brake dust shields?

The mechanic who is pressing my subframe bearings out said will be tricky getting them off as it looks like they are rust welded to the back of the hubs so may damage getting off. One of them has corrosion thats caused holes to form so can't really get that one shot blasted and powder coated anyway...

As usual with Toyota, ridiculous prices, over £340 for one...

Lol, £340 for these?! Are you sure it’s for them or for the entire beam? Have you got the oem numbers you can search on eBay or Google and find something cheaper. If not you can find numbers here https://japancars.ru/index.php?route=catalog/toyota and take it from there.
Toyota official store used to sell these on eBay for Auris , but Corolla a bit older so might not be available easily.

That does seem excessive; You could probably get a fabricator to make some out of stainless steel for that!

I do find that with Toyota, service parts and parts that are routinely replaced are usually very reasonable, but parts that are not expected to be replaced tend to be eye-wateringly expensive!

That might be the price for both. But it's still high.

Start looking for part no 46504-02020 (left) 46503 02020 (right) - I think those are the correct ones.

OE Toyota about £100 each. Or you can buy aftermarket for as little as £20

Personally, I'd go Toyota as you don't want to have to replace them anytime soon again.

They look the correct part numbers, thanks. Doing some searching I have found Klokkerholm is a brand that comes up a lot, so I might have some joy there.

I just find it difficult paying even the expensive oem prices for what is essentially a couple of circles of pressed sheet metal.

Toyota was the price for just one, I  checked this morning.

Where did you find them for £20 each oem?

Did you looked at there? May check Google as there are likely to be other places that may come up. If me, I will go aftermarket on these too. Toyota prices are joke.

Not OEM, aftermarket. eBay or Autodoc (see link from Tony above).

Klokkerholm is well known and makes parts for a huge range of cars.

Yes still on the steep side but am waiting to see if a mate who breaks corollas can get a couple off 2nd hand without any holes or damage i can get blasted and coated.... if not I will order what has popped up on this thread.

Yes, Toyota crazy prices, another one for you all.... rear handbrake adjusters £105 each 🤣. I've found some online for less than 8 quid.

Most likely these parts are long been discontinued and some are left collecting dust in warehouses up and down the country, old stock.
In USA those goes for peanuts but here in uk seems like greedy people in charge increases prices to sky high hoping that they will make a huge profit form classic car restores which they might but come on, those parts will end up in the bin most likely. I can guarantee you that these parts for that car are 10x times more expensive now from what they used to be when the car was new or up to 10 years old.

On some older models, those backing plates are that sort of price, £300-£400 EACH, crazy I know, as newer models can be £30-£40 EACH
