Yes.  The Yaris Cross Design model has this feature but I’m not sure if the Icon is equipped with it.

I have an Excel.  IIRC it is motorised.

Different country trim levels,  as well as model trim levels are a marketing mystery.

If I want an automatic tailgate (I do, and love it), I also get heated seats and steering wheel that I might not want.

I can see bundling features into 4 models simplifies production but some missing features will come at additional parts costs such as blanking plates.

A blanket plate might be 10 a penny but it needs its own supply paperwork, product handling, bin storage etc.

Motorised in Excel trim but not height adjustable, just in/out. Passenger seat has no lumbar support adjustment (in UK at least)

Yes. The two top versions, Style Edition and Adventure, gets electrically adjustable lumbar support. Active and Active Plus do not have it.

I'm n Spain, don't know if Sweden gets similar models but my Style has electrically operated lumbar support, really like it.

It is also fitted to my YC Sol, which is the highest specced of the three models available in Ireland. Strangely, I find myself adjusting it every couple of weeks.

For some reason, I don't really get on with the lumbar support in the Yaris Excel.  It seems to make me more uncomfortable when I try it.  Im perfectly comfortable with it set all the way out ie, so you cant feel it.  Strange but true! 🫢

I have the opposite problem - Really could do with the lumbar support! Does yours have a light-coloured interior? Want to swap seats...? :naughty:

I need it to be lower!

I find the side bolsters of the Cross to be just right though!

The seats are even better in the GR Sport. I may be biased though.

@Cyker I don't know if it's a coincidence, recently been getting very stiff lower back. Not sure if it's due to the mk4's seat or am getting old 🥴

Thinking of getting a lumbar support cushion 🤔

I reckon it's the seat - Without my towel there is a noticeable gap between the seat and my lower back that I can fit my hand in so my lower back is literally getting no support.

I think part of the problem is the mechanism for the seat height raising/lowering - In the Mk1 and Mk2, it would raise the whole seat.

However, in the Mk4, it kinda just tilts the back of the seat base up and down, but this means where you back meets the back of the seat changes.

Because I like a high driving position, it puts me in the wrong position for what little back support the seat has; I dropped the seat to the lowest position and found it to be a lot more supportive, but then I was sitting in a slightly leaning back position and also couldn't see the dash properly more because the wheel was obscuring half of it

My Spinal Support Towel seems to have reduced in effectiveness so I think I will need to invest in a fancy memory foam lumbar cushion or something...!

I wonder if Toyota have guidelines on where they expect you to be positioned in the seat??

Yes there is a gap in the lower back of the seat, maybe this is the reason, now I get what u have been saying about the MK4 seat previously.

#Edit.

Have ordered this for £11.17, let's see if it helps when using. Screenshot_2023-10-23-19-54-30-622_com.alibaba.aliexpresshd.thumb.jpg.98d02af4918b2c6164dcdaa678716130.jpg

These are good I have them in different sizes for different types of seat and location
