Hello!

Just joined the club with a 2019 Aygo X-Trend, at 29k miles.

I payed £10k for it, though I'm enjoying the car I am starting to think it shouldn't be that much for a used car! Do the rest of you think that the Aygo is worth that much?

It's about right for the southeast, Toyotas always command a premium, especially smaller cars like the IQ, Aygo and Yaris

anything with 30-40k miles is in the 8-9K range

New car prices are at a high with 1-2 year old examples being only £2-3k off new prices due to the 6-12 month lead times, add in the rest of the countries woes on top

There is a 2019 Aygo on local dealer forecourt for £11.5k, but that has less mileage than yours so as flash says probably about right. Also as he says these little cars always commanded decent money even before last few years where all car prices have gone a bit crazy.

Sounds about right. My son looked at a 2019 model before he bought his 2020 model. It was marked up at 9700 with 41000 miles on the clock. He ended up spending a little more for a 2020 model with 20000 miles

There are no fair prices on any car at the moment if you ask me, but the money seems very different  even from just two three years ago. As all others says it’s just about right.

I am from outside UK.

Second hand aygo 2019 is going between 10 and 13000 (automatic) euro here.

Don't worry about it. You got it for a 'normal' price I guess.

Buying without a car to sell is unfortunately not good for the buyer in the last few years.

Got a new Yaris hybrid design for 19k and selling MK3 Yaris for not much less than paid for it 5 years ago, I've done alright out of the deal.

Bought my previous version of Aygo ( X-Clusiv Auto with full leather) late 2021 for £13k after dealer discounts and its still worth what I paid even now. Its currently at 17k miles with an average Toyota dealer trade in price of £12500 and private at £13500.

I have ALWAYS travelled anywhere between 100 to 300 miles (Northwards) to buy all my cars and really saved a substantial amount. I live in the South (Wokingham)....it's just Dick Turpin territory when it comes to buying cars...mind you, I'm not complaining the last time I got my house valued 🤣

The Good Lady's Yaris, and our son's Aygo were both bought up North. My C-HR was purchased locally.

Iv had a few cars over the years and for  me the aygo is one the best it's good on fuel  cheap to tax an insure. Only things I don't like which can't be helped is bit low to the floor bit of an pain to get-out of an the boot its more of a slipper  than a boot   ha ha  but driving an fixing its fab

Iv never ever taken a front an back  bumper off a car to fix somthing but so easy to take off an fix (had to put a new altanator on mine the old one just expanded till it almost burst lol .also there worth there money an hold there price .
