Seeking advice

Hello everyone,   I am seeking advice and hope you may be able to help me.  I am reluctantly having to sell my Celica which I have had from new and would welcome any assistance as to the best way to price my car correctly and then to sell it.

Details:   2004  -  Silver Celica Coupe 3 door 1.8 VVT-i  -  limited Red leather edition  -  less than 38,000 miles on the clock  -  in excellent condition.    Serviced and MOT'd in June.

Many thanks, Maddy.

Hi, Maddy.

In May of 2021, and bear in mind prices have risen since then, I advertised my Celica on eBay for £6295. It was also a 2004 VVT-i, with just under 30k on the clock, and I'd also owned it from new. I accepted an offer for £6k from the first caller who immediately paid a deposit, but within a few days had two more calls offering the full asking price.

I should add that I'd spent nine years modifying the car (2004 to 2013) with many expensive additions, and was voted as a prize winning car in 2015 by the members on celica-club.co.uk.

Hope that helps

Don't sell it, sell something else, sounds to good to let go of it. Be very badly missed i imagine.

Hi Maddy,

Do some research online, especially via Celica specific forums, etc

This will give you an Idea of how much these are sought after and a rough price band which will be dependent on condition, history, etc

Certainly sounds like a genuine car and should sell no problem at a good price 👍

You could try a specialist site like Car & Classics. They have multiple gen 7 Celicas for sale at the moment. Yours would be one of the nicer ones for sure. But think hard before you sell it. You may come to miss it😪

A 2004 example with 68,000 miles recently sold for £5,900 via Car & Classic. Yours should do just as well, if not better, as it is a Red Edition.
