Windscreen wipers

I have  1965 Touring Sport Estate and the rear wiper is splitting so I went into Halfords, looked up the Bosch parts for my reg no  and bought front and rear. Went to fit the rear windscreen wiper. Not a chance - it was a 13" instead of a 10". I should have researched on You Tube first as it appears you just replace the insert and of course nothing in the user manual. Anyway back to Halfords tomorrow, get a refund and start again.  Can anyone advise me please on what should have been a 5 minute job and do I have to go to the Toyota agent just to buy Wiper Blades.

Presume it is the 2015 Auris as per your profile.

The problem with third party application lists is that they are not always accurate.

Toyota do a cheaper Optifit range of wipers made to their specification by Trico.

Toyota Direct Parts have the rear wiper blade for under £10 currently - https://toyotadirectparts.co.uk/parts/toyota-auris/toyota-auris-mk-2/auris-mk-2-exterior-interior/toyota-auris-2012-2018-rear-wiper-blade/

Some members also use Bosch wiper blades

Which are, in my opinion, not that good.

I would, and do, prefer Denso, Valeo, Bosch.

Trico once were a respected brand but not any more, in my opinion.

I fit refill rubber to the original factory blade which, I have found,  is not possible with the Optifit branded.

I went back to Halfords and thought that one their own brand looked good - it is a 10" blade, but the spindle was too thin. Thanks for all the replies.

The front last long and the 26" needs replacement more often than 13". Probably every 2-3  years.

The Bosch rear wiper need replacement more often and it tears in 1 year. I used cheap €5 insert (2x 1050fmm) for the rear from inion in Amazon. It contains silicon and surprisingly last longer than original Bosch

The front are never torn even after 3y, just water streaks from rough rubber. I found SWF last longer than Trico or Bosch but it is more expensive.
